As of 10 October 2026, SkipTheCAD lists 550 no-CAD generators: 430 free (78%), 91 freemium, 29 paid; 355 run in a browser (65%); 192 live on MakerWorld (35%); 473 export STL (86%) and 342 export 3MF (62%); 186 support multicolor; 99 are open source; 273 (50%) need an account to download.

How we count
- Pricing follows the label on each tool page: Free, Free + paid plan (counted here as freemium) or Paid.
- "Run in a browser" counts tools with their own web version. The 186 tools that only run inside MakerWorld are counted under MakerWorld.
- "Need an account" means you have to sign in before you can download the file.
- A tool can run on several platforms and export several formats, so those shares add up to more than 100%. Percentages are rounded to whole numbers; a share that would round to 0% or 100% shows as <1% or >99%.
- The date is the most recent check of any listing. What a check covers is explained on how we check generators.

The full list is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0: credit SkipTheCAD with a link to this page. It has one record per generator with its name, website, category, pricing and price note, platforms, export formats, multicolor support, account requirement, open-source status and the date it was last checked.

The same dataset is mirrored on GitHub, with a CSV version, and updated there every day. The two text files summarise the same data in plain text for AI assistants: a short site overview and one fact block per generator.
