Free STL generators, no sign-up
Every generator on this page is free and lets you download the file without creating an account: open the page, set the options, save the file. There are 240 of them, covering lithophanes, terrain maps, Gridfinity bins, QR codes, dice, gears and more. Check the exports column if you need a 3MF, because most of these tools do not export one.
Accounts matter because a large share of free generators sits behind a login. MakerWorld's Customize button and its MakerLab tools only work after you log in with a Bambu Lab account. The account costs nothing and is no hurdle if you already use Bambu Studio, but it is an extra step when you only need one quick file or would rather not hand over an email address. Nearly all the free tools in our directory that ask for a login are on MakerWorld, and because every MakerWorld tool needs one, none of them appear on this list.
Free tools outside MakerWorld rarely ask for one. 3dp.rocks, Text2STL, QRCode2STL, Terrain2STL and the Perplexing Labs Gridfinity Generator all download without a sign-up. Some, such as Kromacut, OpenSCAD Playground and the CNC Kitchen Gridfinity Label Generator, build the model inside your browser rather than on a server. OpenSCAD Playground will also run any customizable .scad file you already have.
No account does not mean no conditions. 3dp.rocks and QRCode2STL show ads, Map2Model and Filament Painter need a separate license for commercial use, and Lithophane Maker, TerraPrinter and the Gridfinity Layout Tool offer an optional login. Check each tool's license before you sell prints.

Which lithophane generators work without an account?
The dedicated lithophane tools on this page, 3dp.rocks Image to Lithophane, Lithophane Maker and Litho-Lamp, are free and download an STL with no sign-up. 3dp.rocks makes flat, curved, dome and heart shapes, Lithophane Maker has separate tools for lamps, night lights and spheres, and Litho-Lamp only makes lamp shades. Lithophane Maker asks for an account only if you want to save settings.
Do I need an account to use MakerWorld customizers?
Yes. MakerWorld's Customize button and its MakerLab tools only work after you log in, and MakerWorld uses your Bambu Lab account for that. The account is free, and you do not need a Bambu Lab printer to create one. Without an account, OpenSCAD Playground can run any customizable .scad file you already have, right in your browser.
