What is VaseMorph?
VaseMorph is a free browser tool that builds vases, bowls and other vessels and saves them as STL or OBJ files. Generate Random Vase gives a starting shape that you refine while the 3D preview updates. No account is needed.
There are six base styles, such as bottle, bowl and hourglass, and 13 cross-sections ranging from round and oval to hex, diamond and wavy square. Eight surface options, from smooth to vertical flutes, spiral ridges, scallop waves and golf ball dimples, work with sliders for wall thickness (1.2 to 5 mm), pattern depth, ridge count and twist. Height and the width of each row are set by dragging guide handles on the model, up to 250 mm. Three checkboxes decide whether a random roll may use twist, a surface pattern or a new shape; an unticked box gives no twist, a smooth wall or a classic round body. Undo steps back through the last five edits.
The exported mesh is a closed container with an outer wall, an inner wall, a rim and a floor as thick as the wall. It works best for quick decorative pieces found by rerolling. Sizes are set by dragging rather than typing, there is no drainage hole option, and as of September 2026 the site had no about or terms page.
