About SVG 2 STL
SVG 2 STL is a small, single-purpose website by Chris Landa that converts vector drawings into 3D printable files. You upload an SVG, the site cleans out unneeded tags, you set how tall the extrusion should be, and it builds the STL on the server. A built-in viewer lets you inspect the result before downloading.
That simple extrusion is often all you need for logos, silhouettes, cake toppers or flat badges. Because it starts from vector artwork, edges stay crisp at any size, unlike photo-based converters.
The service is free and needs no account, but be aware of its sharing model: uploaded SVGs and generated STLs are kept for at least a week, anyone with the link can view them, and all files fall under the WTFPL license, so avoid confidential artwork. A public gallery shows what others have converted. It suits quick logo prints for people who already have an SVG and do not want to open a CAD program.
