About QuickSTL 3D Stencil Maker
QuickSTL's 3D Stencil Maker converts a logo or lettering into a printable spray-paint stencil. You upload an SVG or a high-contrast image and the tool builds a flat plate with your design cut out.
Its key feature is automatic bridging. Enclosed shapes, such as the inside of an O or A, would drop out of a normal stencil, so the tool detects these islands and ties them to the frame with small bridges. You can set the plate thickness, overall size, overspray margin, bridge width and the number of bridges per island, then download the STL for free without signing up.
It suits one-off stencils for signs, shirts, crates and wall art when you already have artwork. For plain typed text, a text-based stencil generator is quicker, since this tool needs an image as input. QuickSTL also runs several other image-to-STL converters on the same site.
