About this generator

The STL Playground Nametag Generator makes a printable name tag, bag tag or keychain from a line of text. You type the name, pick a font and shape the tag with sliders while a live 3D preview updates, and you can add an emoji or upload your own SVG image, such as a logo or a small drawing, for a tag that looks like more than plain text.

It is one of more than 30 builders on STL Playground, a browser site run by a small team of makers who write every builder themselves. The export menu offers STL, OBJ or a 3MF that keeps colors and parts separate, so the text and the background print in different filaments on a multicolor printer, or with a filament change on a single-color one. Add a keyring or a strap through the hole and it is ready for a bag, a backpack or a set of keys.

Designing and previewing work without an account. Downloading needs a free account with 100 credits a month, and every download costs 10 credits, so you get about 10 tags a month for personal use.
