About this generator

3D Keychain & Nametag Designer is a free browser tool from nullphase.net that turns a short name or word into a flat tag with raised letters, ready to print as an STL or a multicolor 3MF. The site belongs to the developer phreakocious, who also hosts a desk stand generator and an S-hook generator there.

You type up to 16 characters, pick one of 35 fonts and watch the 3D preview update as you go; you can rotate and zoom it. There are eight border styles, from a raised lip around the edge to rounded, beveled or chamfered edges and two outline options. The keyring can be a round corner hole, a vertical slot or nothing, on the left, the right or both ends. Sliders cover font size, letter height, a bevel on the letters, padding and base thickness, and an advanced panel adds kerning and corner radius. An SVG logo can sit next to the text, although that option is marked experimental.

Base, text, logo and lip each get their own color, and the 3MF export gives every color its own filament slot in a layout made for Bambu Studio. It needs no account and suits anyone with a multicolor printer who wants tidy name tags for keys, bags or a desk.
