About this generator

Obloid's Keychain & Pet Tag Generator makes a name tag with a keyring hole. You type the text, pick one of 11 built-in fonts or upload your own TTF or JSON font, and choose a rounded rectangle, circle, bone or heart. The rounded rectangle stretches to fit the name, and the other shapes scale the text to fit.

Text is raised 1.2 mm for a second color or engraved 1.2 mm into the face so it does not wear off on a collar. Sliders set the tag length, thickness and hole diameter, and the hole always keeps at least 2.5 mm of material around it. You pick the tag and text colors, and the preview shows the size and grams of PLA. Exports are a Bambu or Orca 3MF with tag and text on separate filaments, a generic 3MF or an STL.

Designing works without an account, but exporting needs a sign-in. Each Obloid tool gives three free exports, and the Plus ($15/month) and Pro ($60/month) plans are unlimited. Obloid publishes no terms or license that say whether prints may be sold. It suits pet owners and anyone making a few name keychains, especially on an AMS printer.
