What is Multi-Line Stencil Generator?

Multi-Line Stencil Generator is a free customizable MakerWorld model by OrnaGrip that turns typed text and numbers into a flat stencil plate for spray paint, airbrush or tracing. The designer first built it to put kids' names and numbers on sports jerseys, and it has now been customized more than 17,000 times.

It opens in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker. You enter up to five lines, pick one of 11 stencil fonts such as Allerta Stencil, Black Ops One or Wallpoet, and set a font size per line plus letter spacing, line spacing, margin, plate thickness and corner radius. Every font has bridges built in, so the middles of letters like O, A and B and digits like 0 and 8 stay attached. The plate gets taller with each line, and with auto width switched on it also widens when the text needs more room.

Version 2 adds an SVG logo field above or below the text, with bars across or upright that keep enclosed parts of the logo from falling out, and an optional flat paddle handle with a hanging hole. Logos must be SVG, so a PNG or JPG has to be traced first. It suits team shirts, crate labels, signs and craft projects.
