About Sweeping 2-Line Name Plate
This customizable desk name plate by Makkuro is one of the most used parametric models on MakerWorld, with more than 270,000 customisations. The text sweeps around in a curve, so the plate reads from the front and looks more playful than a flat sign.
Click Customize on the model page and you can type one or two lines of text, pick a font, set the alignment and add a symbol at either end. The symbol list covers hearts, stars, tools, gifts and a range of social media logos, and the designer keeps adding fonts, including Hebrew. Everything runs in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, and the OpenSCAD source is included if you would rather customize offline.
It suits office desks, gifts for colleagues and funny quote plaques. The model is shared under a CC BY-NC-SA licence, so prints are for personal use unless you get permission.
