About printpal 3D Text Generator
printpal's 3D Text Generator is a free browser tool for raised or engraved lettering. You type your text, choose from 20 bundled fonts or upload your own TTF or OTF file, and adjust letter height, depth, letter spacing and line spacing with a live preview.
An optional base plate comes in rounded, square, pill or oval shapes, with the text either standing on top or cut into it. Extra switches add a keychain hole or a hanging hole, mirror the text for stamps, auto-connect floating parts like the dots on i and j, and link neighbouring letters with thin bridges. Custom fonts stay on your device, and the site states the files can be used commercially.
The same site hosts separate name plate, name sign and two-word text flip generators. Downloads are single STL files, so two-colour prints need a pause in the slicer.
