What is Meshy 3D Text Generator?

Meshy's 3D Text Generator is a free browser tool that turns a typed word or short phrase, up to 20 characters, into solid 3D letters. You pick one of 20 built-in typefaces, such as Roboto Bold, Permanent Marker, Bungee, Lobster or Press Start 2P, and set the size and depth, with an optional bevel. Material, color, glow and lighting settings change how the preview and PNG look, not the printed shape.

The export menu offers a transparent PNG in four sizes, or the model as GLB, OBJ or STL. The STL is a single-color mesh for any slicer; any multicolor work is up to your slicer. Everything is made in the browser. The large Generate My 3D Text Model button is separate: it sends you to Meshy's AI workspace, which uses credits.

The text tool is free with no sign-up, watermark or usage cap. Its FAQ says the text and models you export may be used in commercial work, including 3D prints for sale, with no attribution required. It suits anyone who needs plain 3D lettering for a sign, cake topper or keychain without installing software.
