About TerraPrinter
TerraPrinter builds printable terrain models from real map data right in your browser. You search for a place or pan to it, choose a rectangle, square, circle, hexagon or freehand shape, and then layer in buildings, roads, water, trails, railways and parks from OpenStreetMap on top of Copernicus elevation.
It has more styles than most map tools. Besides a realistic look there is a puzzle mode that cuts the terrain into interlocking pieces and a blocky voxel style. You can add contour lines, emboss GPX routes in their own colours, scatter trees, and finish with a frame and engraved coordinates. A multi-tile mode lays out large regions as square or honeycomb hexagon grids, and surface colours can be split for AMS or MMU printers.
Everything is free with no ads, no watermarks and optional accounts, backed by donations. It suits makers who like to experiment and want one tool for maps, puzzles and multicolour prints.
