About OrbitStudio
OrbitStudio turns real NASA elevation data into printable terrain. Spin the globe, frame a crater, a landing site or a volcano, and the generator builds the surface at the size you choose. The Moon is covered in full, nearside, farside and the south pole, and Mars uses MOLA altimetry at up to 463 metres per pixel.
Every model comes as either a jigsaw puzzle that snaps together or a solid ornament, in a circle, square or hexagon. You can add a frame with your own text, set the height exaggeration and preview the result in 3D before you download.
Generating and downloading STL files is free and needs no account. Pre-coloured 3MF files that open ready to print in Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer use credits from a one-time pass.
