About this generator

alpaco.it Miniature Base Generator is a free browser tool that makes beveled bases for wargaming and tabletop miniatures in round, square or oval shapes. It is one of 36 generators on alpaco.it, a hobby site run by one developer in Poland. You can start from a preset, such as a unit of ten 32 mm rounds or three 40 mm hero bases with magnets, or type your own size, height, bevel and number of copies.

The whole batch, up to 30 bases, comes out as one file that is already laid out for the build plate, so a full squad prints in a single run. A tick box adds a 5 x 2 mm magnet pocket underneath, and bases of 40 mm and up can be hollowed with a rim so steel washers glue in flat. A plan and edge drawing plus a 3D preview update as you change the numbers. The download is a ZIP with an STL, a 3MF, print notes and a settings file you can import again later.

It suits wargamers and painters who want a stack of matching bases in rulebook sizes. It does one narrow job: the tops are flat and the magnet size is fixed.

How to use alpaco.it Miniature Base Generator

Open the generator and pick a preset, or leave it on custom
Choose round, square or oval and enter the size, height and bevel
Set the number of copies and tick the magnet pocket or hollow underside if you want them
Click Download STL + 3MF, choose Download for free in the tip prompt and unzip the files
Slice the plate as exported, top side up with no supports, and print
