About this generator

Commander Case is a free MakerWorld customizer that builds Magic: The Gathering Commander deck boxes. It is wesyarber's third deck box design, built in Fusion with 47 settings you change in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker. Each box has a sliding lid and a front window that shows off your commander, held in a Sleeve Snap frame or a regular top loader.

In the form you can loosen or tighten the lid, lengthen the deck slot for double or triple-sleeved cards, resize the commander slot for other snap cases, add a grip, and switch magnet slots, vanity plate cutouts or a lid cutout for a cork or wood insert on or off. Magnet size and spacing are adjustable for small 1/4 x 1/8 x 1/16 inch block magnets or Bambu's 10 x 5 x 2 mm ones, and matching glue-in tools come out with the case. A lid text option sits in the file, but as of September 2026 the designer's notes said it did not work on MakerWorld.

It has been customized more than 13,000 times and printed over 3,300 times. A case takes roughly 125 to 140 g of PLA in the designer's profiles. Partner commanders and an extra dice compartment have their own model pages. It suits Commander players who want a box that puts their commander on display.

How to use Commander Case - Parametric MTG Commander Deckbox

Open the model on MakerWorld on a computer, sign in and click Customize
Pick the Sleeve Snap or top loader file, then set deck size, lid gaps, grip and magnet options
Generate the case together with its magnet tools
Import the result into one of the posted print profiles, or copy the designer's seam, wall and fan settings
Glue in the magnets with the tools if you use them
