Parametric Spirograph Drawing Template is a free MakerWorld customizer by Molodos for printing your own drawing gears, the kind you roll around inside a toothed ring with a pen to draw looping patterns. It is the parametric second version of the maker's earlier gear kit. It is inspired by the classic toy but has no link to the brand that owns the name.

The page has two generators, one for the round inner gears and one for the outer rings. You set the number of teeth, pick a pen hole size of 2, 2.5 or 3 mm and choose whether the tooth count is printed on the front, the back, both sides or nowhere. Every new gear size gives you new patterns, so a few extra gears go a long way. If you would rather skip the customizer, ready print profiles cover a 4 gear set and a 12 gear kit in single color, color per plate and AMS versions. The maker recommends 0.2 mm layers and no supports.

It suits parents, teachers and anyone who wants a cheap drawing toy or a small hands-on geometry lesson. It is free, but you need a MakerWorld account to customize and download.
