Customizable Ring Fidget Spinner is a free MakerWorld customizer by Fletch that makes a fidget ring in your US ring size, with a smooth inner band and a textured outer band that turns around it. It runs in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, so you work with sliders and dropdowns and never touch the OpenSCAD code behind it.

You set the ring size, add a little extra room if printed rings come out small on the finger, choose the ring height in millimeters and pick one of 16 patterns for the outer band, among them Arrows, Bricks, Checkers, Hexagons, Knurl and Swirls. Advanced settings turn pattern embedding on or off and change the pattern's depth and taper. Separate inner and outer colors, picked from the Bambu PLA range, are saved in the 3MF export.

The creator puts each ring at about 15 minutes and under 3 g of filament, and the two ready-made print profiles, one ring per plate from size 3 to 15 in half sizes, show slicer estimates in that range. Fletch recommends 100% infill, a random seam, Arachne walls and an inner brim, and rates PLA Metal as the best filament. With more than 18,000 customizations and mostly positive ratings, it suits parents, fidget fans and anyone making small handouts.

How to use Customizable Ring Fidget Spinner

1. Open the model on MakerWorld, sign in and click Customize
2. Set the US ring size, size tolerance and ring height
3. Pick an outer-band pattern and, if you like, inner and outer colors
4. Export the file and slice it with 100% infill, a random seam and an inner brim
5. Print, remove the brim and spin the ring a few times so it turns more freely
