About GridfinityCreator
GridfinityCreator is a hobby project by Jeroen Bouwens that builds Gridfinity parts with CadQuery on a server. Because the geometry comes from a real CAD kernel instead of a mesh library, it can hand you a STEP file as well as an STL, which is handy if you later want to adjust the part in another program.
The menu covers baseplates with light magnet retention, divider bins with compartments, holey bins with a grid of holes for tools or bits, light bins that save plastic, and solid bins you can treat as blanks. Each type opens a short form with the dimensions and options, and the file downloads straight away. No account is needed and it costs nothing.
The author labels it alpha software and warns that it may produce odd output or disappear, so check parts in your slicer. It suits makers who want clean STEP files or a no-frills alternative to the bigger generators. The source code is on GitHub.

6 x 2 mm magnets for Gridfinity
Gridfinity baseplates and bins are designed around 6 x 2 mm disc magnets pressed into the corners; they hold bins in place but still let you lift one out with one hand.
