Forgent3D Generators is a free browser tool for functional parts in exact sizes, such as bins, adapters, spacers and trays. What is Forgent3D Generators?
Forgent3D Generators is a free set of eight browser generators for workshop and storage parts, made by Forgent3D, whose main product is an AI CAD agent. The hub covers a Gridfinity bin, a Gridfinity baseplate, a box with a friction-fit lid, a hose adapter, a funnel, a spur gear, a washer or spacer, and a tool tray. Each one opens as a short Parameters panel of number boxes, sliders and drop-downs next to a live 3D view that rebuilds when you change a value.
The settings are few but well chosen. For each end of the hose adapter you say whether you measured the inside or the outside of the hose. The box is sized from its inner dimensions and has its own lid clearance. The gear takes module, tooth count, pressure angle and an optional round or hex bore. The tool tray stands out: you drag eight points on a sketch to match your part's outline, and the fit clearance is a separate number.
The Export menu offers STL and STEP with no sign-in prompt. The info pages also mention 3MF, but it was not in that menu. A Remix button hands the model to the AI agent, a separate product that was in beta as of September 2026. It suits makers who need a functional part in exact sizes.

Forgent3D Generators pros
- No sign-in prompt in the generator, and the Export menu offers STL or STEP
- Short parameter lists, and each info page gives ranges and plain explanations
- The tool tray pocket follows your part's measured outline instead of a plain rectangle
Forgent3D Generators cons
- Only eight generators as of September 2026, on a new site with no community track record
- Export menu offers STL and STEP only, so no multi-part 3MF for color prints
- The app shows CAD viewer controls and a Remix button for the AI agent, which can distract
