PrivQR QR Code to STL is a free browser tool that turns a web link or short text into a flat, printable QR code plate. There are two ways in. The main builder starts from a preset (flat plaque, product tag, nameplate, device label, embedded surface or custom), asks about your printer and whether you care most about small size or scan reliability, then proposes the dimensions for you. A simpler converter page is a single form: paste the content, set the print width, raised height and backing thickness, and download.

What sets it apart is the checking. Before it unlocks a download, the builder decodes the generated code, confirms the mesh is closed and manifold, and flags squares that are too small for your nozzle, a base that is too thin or a cramped quiet zone. The production pack is a ZIP with the recommended STL, raised, recessed and alternative-size versions, SVG and PNG references and a printing checklist.
