What is Gridfinity Builder?

Gridfinity Builder is a layout editor for a whole Gridfinity drawer. You pick a printer or baseplate size (Bambu Lab A1, A1 Mini, P1S, X1C, X1E, H2D, a 19 inch rack or a custom grid), then place, resize and rotate bins on a 2D grid while a 3D view shows the result. Ready-made bin presets include small parts, screwdriver, socket tray, deep bin, wide shallow, SFP tray and cable management bins, and an auto-fill fills the empty cells with one size.

Each bin has its own dimensions, walls, floor, dividers, stacking lip, label shelf and magnet or screw recesses. The 3D view has solid, X-ray and blueprint modes and section views, and the app estimates filament use and cost. Layouts are saved in the browser, can be exported as JSON, shared as a link or published as a GitHub Gist if you choose to, and there are a few templates and a short tutorial.

Export Bin gives a ZIP with one bin as 3MF and STL; Export All gives one multi-object 3MF with every bin in its layout position plus an STL per bin. A Fit Test download gives two 1 x 1 bins and a small baseplate so you can check the fit on your printer first. The baseplate in the preview is a reference only and is not part of the bin exports. It is free with no account. The repository shows no license and nothing about selling prints. It suits people planning a full drawer of mixed bins in one go.
