What is Voronoi Lamp Generator?

Voronoi Lamp Generator cuts the wall of a lamp shade, globe or vase into Voronoi cells, the irregular cell pattern you see in leaves and foam. Unlike general vase generators it is built for lamps: a Lamp on mode puts a light inside the preview and casts the pattern onto the floor, so you see the shadow before you print.

You choose a cylinder or cone, a sphere with cut-off caps, or a vase profile set by five radii, or start from six presets (classic cylinder, lampshade cone, globe, belly vase, hourglass, tulip). The openings are set by the number of cells, a seed (the same seed gives the same lamp), relaxation passes that make the cells more even, rib width, corner radius, a solid rim at top and bottom, and a share of cells left closed. You also set the wall thickness and an optional closed bottom.

The download is a watertight STL in millimeters, and the panel shows the open area, size, volume, estimated PLA weight and whether the model is manifold. The wall can also be downloaded rolled out flat as an SVG. It is free with no account and nothing is uploaded. The code is MIT licensed, which covers the software, not prints. The tool is brand new (October 2026). It suits anyone printing a pendant shade or a night light cover.
