What is Eurorack Panel Designer?
Eurorack Panel Designer is a free browser tool for laying out front panels for Eurorack synth modules and exporting them as a printable STL. You pick a format, from standard 3U to 1U Intellijel or Pulp Logic tiles, 2U, 4U or a custom size, and set the width in HP. Panels are cut to the widths Doepfer publishes, and the mounting holes land on the rail grid by themselves, sized so an M3 screw still passes through a printed hole.
From a palette you drop jacks, knobs, switches, LEDs and simple cutouts onto the panel. Each part stands for a real component, such as a Thonkiconn jack or an Alpha 9 mm pot, so its hole follows the datasheet, and knobs or nuts that would bump into each other are outlined in red. Labels in five bundled fonts and SVG artwork are raised on the front, so a filament change gives you two-color legends. A 3D view shows the mesh before you export an STL at the thickness you want. SVG, PNG and KiCad outlines are there too.
It suits DIY synth builders who want a neat panel without drawing it in CAD. Designs save in your browser, and the developer also sells printed panels through an Etsy shop.
