What is Modelador 3D Part Generator?

Modelador 3D Part Generator is a free browser hub of close to 60 form-based generators for functional 3D printed parts, run by a small modeling studio in Muriaé, Brazil. Each generator is a form with a live 3D preview: you pick a preset or type sizes in millimeters, and many of them check wall thickness and clearances, for example by flagging catalog bearings whose ring section is too thin to print. The site menu can be switched to English, but the generator pages and their help text stay in Portuguese.

Most tools make functional parts: threaded caps, bolts with six head styles and matching nuts, gears in straight, helical or herringbone form with pair and rack modes, pulleys, timing belt drives, a planetary gearbox, print-in-place ball or roller bearings sized to numbers such as 608, ANSI chain sprockets, hinges, springs, a T-slot profile, pipe connectors and replacement appliance knobs. There are also organizer boxes, a PCB enclosure, drawer pulls, funnels, jigsaw puzzles, keychains and trophies. Multi-part designs download as a ZIP of separate STL files.

Downloads are free and unlimited once you register a first name and email, and an optional donation is suggested. The domain dates from June 2026 and had no outside reviews as of September 2026, and the gear page is not consistent about its tooth shape, so print a test before relying on a part. It suits makers who need a custom or replacement part and can work through a Portuguese interface.
