What is The Ultimate Funnel Generator?
The Ultimate Funnel Generator is a free MakerWorld customizer by John Galt that builds a funnel to your own measurements in the Parametric Model Maker. Instead of hunting for a funnel that almost fits a bottle, tank or filler hole, you set the top diameter (up to 300 mm), the cone height, the spout length, the spout's inner and outer diameter and the wall thickness.
The extras are optional. You can add a flat brim around the wide end and set its width and thickness, add a small loop and choose its radius, thickness and position, or cut the spout tip at an angle. A smoothness slider sets how many facets the cone gets, and low values give it a low-poly look. If you just need a funnel today, a medium sample is included; its print profile uses about 40 g of PLA, and the designer says it prints without supports.
Commenters have used it to fill a lawnmower transaxle, pour used fryer oil back into its container, refill bar pour bottles and top up AMS desiccant pods. The spout's outer diameter stops at 30 mm, so wide jobs such as a canning funnel are out of reach.
