Vacuum Nozzle - Round or Flat Tip is a free MakerWorld customizer by John_M that makes a slip-on attachment for a household vacuum, hand vacuum or shop vac, sized to the pipe you already have. It runs in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker from a protected OpenSCAD file and has been customized more than 28,000 times since March 2026.

You enter the outside diameter of your vacuum's pipe, then set the taper and how far the nozzle slides on, which together decide how firmly it grips. Next you pick a round tip for general cleaning or a flat crevice tip for corners, car seats and narrow gaps, and set the extension length, wall thickness and tip size. The tip can be cut at an angle, front to back or side to side, and since the July 2026 update an optional grid across the opening lets sawdust through while screws stay on the floor. Six designer print profiles fit a common 34.5 mm pipe.

It is free with a MakerWorld login and usually prints upright without supports. It suits anyone who lost a crevice tool or wants a narrower one. A few users found the fit too tight and added 0.5 to 1 mm to the diameter, so a quick test print is worth it.

3. Enter the diameter, taper and insertion depth, then pick a round or flat tip and set its size, length and angle
4. Generate, export an STL or 3MF and print it upright with the connector at the bottom
