About this generator

Any Size Parametric 90 Degree Shelf Bracket is a free MakerWorld customizer by Iceman that builds an L-shaped shelf or corner bracket from the sizes you type in. It was posted in October 2024 and has been customized more than 13,000 times. Each bracket has a diagonal brace with an access slot in it, so you can still reach the screws once the bracket is up.

After you sign in and click Customize, MakerWorld's built-in customizer opens. You set the height and length of the two legs, the width and thickness, where the two screw holes sit, the hole and screw head size, whether the heads are countersunk, and one of three looks: Normal Bevel, Low Poly or Extra Low Poly. Values are entered in millimeters. If a common size is all you need, ready-made STLs cover 8 imperial sizes from 1x1 to 8x8 inches for #4 to #8 screws and 6 metric sizes from 20x20 to 60x60 mm for M3 or M4 screws, and 23 print profiles cover the same sizes.

It suits anyone hanging a shelf, propping up a cabinet or joining two boards at a right angle who wants a bracket that fits the job. The designer suggests printing it flat with a few painted-on supports inside the screw slot.
