About this generator
alpaco.it Hose Adapter Generator is a free browser tool that builds a round adapter between two hose or port sizes, for jobs like fitting a shop-vac hose to a sander or a chip extractor to a smaller tool. You set each end on its own: the diameter from 10 to 250 mm, whether it slides into or over the port, how deep it goes, how much it tapers and how many grip ribs it gets. A wall thickness, a transition length and an elbow angle from 0 to 90 degrees finish the shape, and a 3D preview and a cross-section drawing follow your changes.
The download is a ZIP with an STL, a 3MF and a README that repeats your numbers and explains how to measure each end, plus fit and section drawings. Five presets cover common shop-vac, sander, extractor and elbow cases, and the site's model library holds 33 ready-made adapters and elbows between 30 and 100 mm. The form only makes two-ended parts: the page FAQ mentions Y adapters, but there is no setting for one.
