What is Hose Adapter (ilove3d)?

The ilove3d hose adapter generator solves the problem of joining two hoses or ports of different sizes. For each end you choose whether the adapter goes into the hose or the hose goes into the adapter, type the diameter you measured and set the end length; the tool adds the fit clearance and a lead-in taper for FDM printing. The page explains which diameter to measure for each case, which is the most common mistake.

The adapter can be straight or an elbow from 0 to 135 degrees, with a configurable bend radius, transition length and wall thickness. A Camlock mode adds a male Camlock connection based on Peter H's design, which keeps its fixed mating profile. Everything is computed in your browser and downloads as an STL.

Straight adapters print upright without supports; curved ones may need them, and PETG is the better choice near motors or warm air. Straight adapters and elbows may be sold; parts made in Camlock mode may not, because that profile comes from Peter H's CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 design, as the maker confirmed.
