What is Customizable Servo Horn?
Customizable Servo Horn is a free MakerWorld model by Rat and Robot that runs in the Parametric Model Maker and makes replacement or custom horns for hobby servos. You pick how many arms the horn has, how long they are and how many screw holes sit along each arm, and you can change the arm thickness, the size of those holes and the fit clearance.
The spline that grips the servo's output shaft has its own group of settings: outer diameter, screw diameter, shoe height, tooth count and tooth shape. The defaults fit Futaba 3F style splines, and the model page has a table of values other users measured for MG90S, Savox SH-0264MG Plus, Spektrum A335, FMS 09A 9g and MG996R servos. For a standard horn there are also 42 ready-made STL files with one to six arms in lengths from 10 to 40 mm, plus a 3MF that holds them all.
The creator recommends printing the horns on their side so the teeth come out cleaner; the example horns were printed in PLA at 0.08 mm layers with 100% infill. Plastic horns are meant for prototypes and light loads; for heavier work the creator points to metal horns. It suits RC, robotics and animatronics hobbyists who need an unusual arm layout or have lost a horn.

Customizable Servo Horn pros
- Spline values for six servo types are listed on the page
- Clearance and tooth shape can be tuned for a snug fit
- Ready-made STL files for one to six arms if you skip the customizer
Customizable Servo Horn cons
- Printed teeth wear down under real load, as the creator points out
- Servos not in the table need measured spline values, and clones of one servo can differ
