About Parametric Electronics Panel Generator
iLab's Electronics Panel Generator builds custom front plates for electronics projects in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker. It gathered over 6,000 likes within weeks of its July 2026 release, making it one of the fastest-growing tools in this area.
Start with the plate: width, height, thickness, rounded corners, a raised border and up to four mounting holes with countersinks. Then add up to ten cutouts, each placed by hand or arranged automatically in a grid. Presets cover round holes, slots, USB-A, USB-C, RJ45, toggle and rocker switches, potentiometers, rotary encoders, displays, XT60, Neutrik D-size connectors and fans, with fan grilles in several patterns. Every cutout can get its own raised or engraved label, and the panel can carry a title such as POWER SUPPLY.
It is free with a MakerWorld account. Component sizes differ between makers, so measure your parts first. It suits workshop gear, power supplies, test stations and control boxes.
