About CNC Kitchen Gridfinity Label Generator
Stefan Hermann of the CNC Kitchen YouTube channel published this small browser tool to label Gridfinity bins based on pred's popular parametric bin, which has a slot for a printed label. Each label has an icon on the left and two lines of text on the right, and the second line can be swapped for a drawing of a screw head type.
You can type your own text and pick one of ten clipart icons, such as a hex nut, washer, heat insert or Torx drive. There is also a catalogue of predefined labels covering heat-set inserts, socket head screws, nuts and washers in common metric and imperial sizes, and you can export many at once as a ZIP. Text is raised 0.4 mm, one layer at that height, so a single filament swap gives crisp two-colour labels.
Everything runs locally in the browser, costs nothing and needs no account. The code is open source under MIT. It is ideal for anyone sorting screws and inserts into Gridfinity bins.
