About this generator

3D MakerBench's Flip Text Generator makes the popular dual-text illusion in your browser, free and without signing up. You type two words with the same number of letters (up to 10) and get one print that reads the first word from the front and the second when you turn it 90 degrees, such as two names or LOVE and a name.

You pick one of four fonts (bold rounded, block, serif or script), the letter height and spacing, and an optional base plate so the letters print as one piece. Front and Side buttons under the preview check both readings before you download. The download is an STL, or a ZIP with two STLs for a two-color print on an AMS or MMU; on a single nozzle you change filament at the top of the base.

The page gives clear tips: bold fonts keep each letter solid, letters of similar width pair best, and a dark base with light letters makes both words stand out. It suits gifts for couples, friends and families.
