About this generator

3D MakerBench's Gridfinity Bin Generator makes standard Gridfinity bins in the browser, free and without signing up. You set the size in grid units across and deep, the height in 7 mm units, the number of compartments and the wall thickness, and a 3D preview updates as you go.

Options include the standard 4.4 mm stacking lip, magnet pockets for 6 by 2 mm magnets plus M3 screw holes, and card and plug slots: rows of fitted slots for SD cards, microSD cards, USB-A or USB-C plugs, with adjustable clearance, an optional 15 degree lean toward the front and a shallower front row so items are easy to grab. The page lists every dimension (42 mm grid, 41.5 mm footprint, 2u = 18.4 mm and so on) so you can check the fit.

It downloads one print-ready STL that prints opening up without supports. It suits anyone filling a drawer with Gridfinity bins, and especially anyone who wants a tidy home for memory cards and plugs.
