What is Matter QR Codes?

Matter QR Codes reads the pairing QR code of a Matter smart home device and turns it into a file you can print. It is handy when the sticker on a plug or sensor is fading or hard to reach, and you want a durable copy to keep with the device.

You scan the code with your camera in the browser or upload a photo. The tool extracts the MT: payload, shows the manual pairing code, setup PIN, discriminator and vendor and product IDs, and can look up the vendor in the Connectivity Standards Alliance ledger. It exports the code as SVG or STL, with square or round modules and a mirror option. Everything runs in the browser by default, in six languages.
