What is Neo Gear?
Neo Gear designs a single involute gear for printing. You set the module or outer diameter, the number of teeth, the pressure angle, backlash, root clearance and profile shift, and a helix angle turns a spur gear into a helical one. The shaft bore can be round, keyed with a keyway, D-shaped, hexagonal or square, with its own diameter, and you set the face width.
As you change values it shows the pitch, outer, root and base diameters, tooth height and circular pitch, and labels the main sizes on the 3D preview. The export dialog offers a fast raw mesh or a slower mesh optimized for printing, binary or ASCII STL or 3MF, and three mesh quality levels.
It is free with no account and runs locally in the browser. The site has no terms or license text, so the rules for selling prints are unknown. It suits makers who need a replacement or custom gear with a specific bore and know their module and tooth count.
