What is Dice Builder?

Dice Builder makes a custom six-sided die. You pick each face, search more than 4,000 icons from game-icons.net (dragons, swords, skulls, dice symbols and so on) and place one on the face, then center it, copy it to another face or remove it. The result is a rounded d6 exported as one STL, for board games, role-playing games, story cubes or prototypes.

That is the whole tool: there are no size settings, no other dice shapes and no upload of your own icons. A Flip normals button fixes icons that come out sunken or mirrored. The maker marks it as version 0.1 and still in development, with d4 to d20 dice, custom icons, custom scale and mobile support on a to-do list.

It is free, needs no account and runs in the browser; it is also listed on itch.io. There is no license for the dice themselves. The icons are from game-icons.net under Creative Commons BY 3.0, so selling dice with them needs a credit to the icon authors. It suits gamers who want a quick icon die without any modeling.
