About this generator
Vostok Labs' Fold-Up Box Generator is a free browser app, also available as a partner app in MakerWorld's MakerLab, that designs boxes which fold up from one flat sheet and lock themselves shut. You pick one of twelve structures, from a mailer or a cake box to a retail tuck carton, a gable carry box or a set of slot-together dividers, and type the inside or outside size in millimeters or inches.
You can add a window, a hang tab or your own logo, and a live 3D preview shows the box folding up and unfolding. For 3D printing it exports a flat 3MF that prints without supports and has the fold lines grooved in. For card, it exports a zip with an SVG, a DXF, a Bambu Suite project and the assembly steps, with the fold lines and the beam width worked out for a laser or cutting machine.
It suits anyone who needs a gift box, a product carton or a box for a specific item without drawing a net by hand. It is a new app (published in late September 2026); the web version opens without an account, the MakerLab version after you sign in to MakerWorld.
