About this generator
DnD Dice and Miniature Box is a free MakerWorld customizer that builds a hinged, print-in-place case for one standing miniature and a set of polyhedral dice. It comes from the designer Mneric and runs as an OpenSCAD script in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker. The lid, hinge and latch come off the printer already assembled, so there is nothing to glue or snap together.
In the form you type the miniature's width, depth and height in millimeters, or enter 0,0,0 for a dice-only box. Each die has its own size field, measured the way the creator's diagrams show, and one switch adds a slot for a second D20. You can upload any SVG for the lid and then scale or move it. BOSL2 wall textures are offered too, but the creator warns they slow MakerWorld's servers a lot and suggests running the script in OpenSCAD on your own computer for them.
The creator's print profile holds two boxes, one with a single D20 slot and one with two, and prints the lid logo in a second PLA color. With about 2,000 likes, 5,500 customizations and a 4.8-star rating, it suits D&D and tabletop players who want one small case for their character and dice. Makers often mention that the latch is stiff for the first few openings.

DnD Dice and Miniature Box pros
- Fits your own dice and figure because every size is a number you type
- Prints in one piece with the hinge and latch already in place
- Any SVG logo can go on the lid, and the creator's profile prints it in a second color
DnD Dice and Miniature Box cons
- The latch is stiff at first; several makers say it eases after a few openings or needs a little filing
- Wall textures render slowly or fail in the online customizer; the creator points to local OpenSCAD with BOSL2 for them
- Needs a MakerWorld login, and the creator says Customize is not available on mobile
