What is Obloid Hinged Box Generator?

Obloid Hinged Box Generator is a browser tool that builds a print-in-place box with the lid already joined by printed hinges, so it comes off the bed in one piece with no pins or glue. Sliders set length (55 to 220 mm), width (55 to 180 mm), body depth (10 to 82 mm), lid depth (8 to 32 mm), wall thickness and corner radius, and a live 3D preview shows the box open or closed.

Inside you can add up to five dividers in each direction, a single diagonal or an X, set the divider thickness and mirror the sections into the lid so small parts stay put when it closes. Hinge and front opener counts follow the box size unless you set them yourself. Lid text can be debossed or printed flush in a second color, using 11 built-in fonts or your own TTF, and you pick colors for the body, lid and text before exporting a Bambu/Orca 3MF, a generic 3MF or an STL.

The export lies open at 180 degrees, so the bed has to fit roughly twice the box width. Downloading needs a sign-in, and each Obloid tool gives three free exports before a paid plan is needed. It suits anyone who wants a tidy box for bits, cards or a small gift without modeling one.
