About Customizable Box with Slide Lid
This slide-lid box by Kong 3D is one of the most printed parametric models on MakerWorld, with over 145,000 customizations. It answers a simple need: a sturdy box in exactly the size you want, with a lid that slides on and a top that other boxes can stack onto.
In the customizer you set outside length, width and height, corner radius and the number of sections inside. Walls are 4 mm and dividers 2 mm, and the height you enter covers the box only. Later updates added small snap nubs to hold the lid shut and a flat-top lid option that prints without supports; the standard lid needs its support removed cleanly before it will slide.
It is free with a MakerWorld account. Use it for small tools, craft supplies, office bits or electronics, or print a set of matching sizes that stack neatly on a shelf.
