About Collapsible Box - Custom Size Generator
Charlie Designs' Collapsible Box generator makes a storage box whose walls fold down when you do not need it. It has been customized more than 10,000 times on MakerWorld, and it is a fun way to get a box that packs away for travel, moving or seasonal storage.
The customizer is kept deliberately short: you set width, length and height and let the Parametric Model Maker build the parts, including the hexagon pattern in the walls. The author says most sizes print well. Generation can be slow, and if it fails the first time, clicking Generate again usually fixes it, a known quirk of MakerWorld's service with this pattern.
It is free with a MakerWorld account and still marked beta by its author. It suits anyone who wants a custom-size folding crate for a shelf, car boot or closet, without learning any design software.
