About LumHaus (MakerLab)
LumHaus is a lamp designer by Genform that runs inside Bambu Lab's MakerLab. Rather than a loose shade, it takes you from a silhouette to a complete lamp: you choose a starting profile (spherical, cylindrical, conical, pear-shaped or free-form), tune the proportions, add a surface texture and match it to a base with a socket fitting. A live preview shows shade and base together at real size.
Before export the tool checks the whole assembly, then saves a 3MF for Bambu Studio, with STL as a fallback. The free path covers the shade, base and export. Custom shade profiles, extra socket presets and the full texture library are optional one-time unlocks.
LumHaus suits makers who want a finished desk or pendant lamp and are happy to buy a bulb socket and cable separately. It launched in 2026, so there are fewer community examples than for older tools, but it is one of the few no-CAD generators that treats the lamp as a whole object.

Translucent filament diffuses light instead of blocking it, so lampshades glow evenly, and it lets HueForge prints mix colours through stacked thin layers.
