Meshcast Texture Roller Generator is a browser tool that builds a printable rolling pin for pressing a repeating pattern into clay, fondant, cookie dough or polymer clay. You start from one of 15 built-in motifs such as hearts, stars, hexagons, scales or tire tread, or upload your own PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP image. Meshcast, the Berlin site behind it, is best known for candle and soap molds.

Sliders set the roller diameter, length and axle bore, the pattern depth and scale, and how many times the motif repeats around and along the cylinder. Raised presses the design into the material, Recessed lets the clay bulge up into it, and an invert switch swaps shape and background. For an uploaded image you choose between a full tiling pattern and a single inset icon, and a threshold slider picks between a soft, hilly relief and crisp flat-topped shapes. How to use Meshcast Texture Roller Generator

1. Open the texture roller page and pick a built-in pattern or upload an image
2. For an upload, choose Full pattern or Single icon and set the threshold for soft or crisp relief
3. Set diameter, length, axle bore, depth and repeats, then pick Raised or Recessed
4. Tick Include fork handle and press Generate handle if you want one
5. Download the STL or 3MF and print the roller standing on one end
