About SnapFrames
SnapFrames, made by Micropolitan, generates 3D-printable picture frames sized to your photo or artwork. The frame is split automatically into parts that fit your build plate and snap together without glue, with prongs that hold the artwork flat and an optional kickstand, so you can frame a poster that is far larger than your printer.
You can choose picture frame, 3D art and shadow box types in narrow, standard or wide styles, several shapes and finishes such as wood grain, plus face text. Exports include STL, and 3MF or OBJ for multi-colour prints. The frames also suit lithophanes and HueForge prints.
Designing and previewing on snapframes.app is free without an account; downloading needs a free account and a paid plan. A free, unlimited SnapFrames Lite with rectangle and hexagon frames runs inside Bambu Lab's MakerLab, which covers most simple photo frames.

Wood-fill PLA for signs
Wood-filled PLA gives signs and plaques a warm, natural texture you can sand or stain, so a printed sign looks closer to a carved one. Use a 0.4 mm or larger nozzle to avoid clogs.
