About this generator
Playing Cards (Poker) in Braille is a free MakerWorld customizer that prints a full 52-card deck with braille for the suit and value in the corners of each card back. The designer, Bazzuchelli, made it for a blind uncle who asked for the dots on the back. The faces keep a classic look: pips and letters are printed flat in a second color, and the braille dots are the only raised detail.
The Customize button opens MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, which runs the attached OpenSCAD file. The model description lists card thickness, engraving or relief depth, symbol size and fonts as things you can change, and you can print one card, one suit or the whole deck. The designer says a braille dot height of 0 gives regular cards without braille. If you would rather skip the form, there are six ready print profiles, including a full deck on seven plates at 0.1 mm layers that uses about 339 g of PLA in black, yellow and cyan.
Since October 2025 it has been customized about 4,900 times and printed more than 700 times. It suits families and card clubs with a braille reader at the table. It is not a tactile deck for blind players who do not read braille.

Playing Cards (Poker) in Braille pros
- Braille for suit and value in the corners of every card back
- Six ready print profiles: the full deck at 0.1 or 0.2 mm layers, plus each suit on its own
- OpenSCAD source attached, and the designer still answers questions in the comments
Playing Cards (Poker) in Braille cons
- Only the braille dots are raised, so it does not help blind players who cannot read braille, and commenters note sighted players can see the dots on the backs
- The full deck is a long job: seven plates, about 21 hours and 339 g of PLA, and all six profiles are set up for an AMS
- Thin cards can look see-through in light or silk filament; the designer advises dark matte PLA for the card body
