About this generator
Measuring Cup / Spoon by Matthew Ghost is a free MakerWorld customizer that builds a round measuring cup or scoop in the volume you enter, in milliliters. You click Customize, type the volume into MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker and get a cup with a flat handle, the volume in raised letters and a hole at the end for hanging. It placed fourth in MakerWorld's OpenSCAD Master Challenge and has been customized more than 15,000 times.
The appeal is sizes that shops don't sell. Commenters print an 11 ml scoop, a 30 ml coffee dose, protein and salt scoops, pet food portions and throwaway cups for mixing paint, glue or garden chemicals. If a standard set is all you need, six ready print profiles cover cups from 5 to 110 ml, including two-color AMS sets with contrasting labels and single-color plates for the A1 mini.
Accuracy reports are mixed: one maker weighed the cups and called them precise, while others found them a little under the stated size, so weigh a test fill if it matters. The description names only the volume setting, the handle sits at the base so the cups don't nest, and you need a MakerWorld account to customize. The license rules out selling prints.

Measuring Cup / Spoon pros
- Makes the exact capacity you need, such as an 11 ml scoop or a 5 ml teaspoon
- Raised volume label on the handle reads clearly in one color, and a hole at the end lets you hang a set
- Six ready profiles cover 5 to 110 ml sets if you don't want to customize, some in two colors
Measuring Cup / Spoon cons
- Only the volume setting is described; commenters who wanted wider, shorter cups edited the SCAD file themselves
- The handle sits at the base, so the cups don't nest; several commenters asked for a handle at the rim
- MakerWorld account required, and a few makers found cups slightly under size; layer lines are hard to clean for food use
