About this generator

Easy-Peasy Customizable Drawer Dividers v2 is a free MakerWorld customizer by printurd that turns a drawer's inside measurements into a grid of thin divider walls. It runs in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, so you fill in a form and see the layout in the preview instead of editing OpenSCAD code. Since April 2025 it has been customized about 42,000 times and liked about 6,800 times, which makes it a well used alternative to full bin systems such as Gridfinity.

You enter the drawer width, length and depth, the wall thickness and the number of rows and columns. One larger cell, anchored in the top left corner, can span several rows or columns. Walls can stay solid or get a cut-out pattern: honeycomb, pill, diamond or slots, and the slots can be tilted into diagonal slats. Set your printer's maximum X and Y length and walls that are too long are split into pieces that lock together with dovetail joints.

The customizer exports everything as one object, so you split it into parts in your slicer and spread them over one or more plates. The author suggests printing the small dovetail test first to tune the fit, and patterned walls take longer to generate and print. A free MakerWorld account is needed to open the customizer and download. It suits anyone who wants a tidier drawer without planning a full bin system.
