About this generator
Customizable Garden Plant Label Sign is a free MakerWorld customizer that makes a pointed plant stake with the plant's name standing on its top edge as cut-out letters. You type the name, choose a font and set the stake size in the Customize form, and MakerWorld generates a file you print flat on the bed. One commenter set theirs up from the Bambu Handy phone app.
It is a credited copy rather than an original: the uploader, JB, took it from Nother_Ngineer's Thingiverse design, shares it under CC BY-NC-SA and lists the short OpenSCAD file with the model. Its ASA and PLA print profiles each estimate 3 to 4 g of filament and about 15 minutes per stake, all in one color, so no AMS is needed. The cover photo shows herb and vegetable names, commenters mention greenhouse plants, succulents and cacti, and a few print theirs in PETG.
Each run makes one label, so a whole bed of names means generating several files and arranging them on one plate in your slicer. The dots on i and j come out as separate pieces, and one commenter suggests all capital letters to avoid them. It suits gardeners who want clear, readable labels in a few minutes without drawing anything.
